Hand-Folded Dog Tugs and Fleece Accessories
The Mission Statement
We fold what we can show you, and we say only what we've measured.
Slobber & Stitch makes hand-folded fleece dog tugs — real material, real technique, no invented science. Every tug starts as the same cut of fleece and becomes one of a small number of named, demonstrable fold patterns, tied by hand, in front of the person buying it.
We don't dress up craftsmanship as engineering. We don't borrow a claim we haven't tested. We'd rather tell a customer "this isn't the right toy for your dog" than sell them something dishonestly. And when we do have real data — a measured stretch, a real cycle count, an actual number instead of a guess — that's the moment we've earned the right to say more, not before.
Handmade isn't a marketing angle here. It's the whole audit trail: you can watch it made, ask what it's made of, and get a true answer every time.
Handmade fleece dog tugs and hats crafted with honest techniques and materials.
Slobber & Stitch
The Story
It started at a table, not a factory.
Slobber & Stitch began the way most honest things do — with someone willing to fold, by hand, in front of a stranger, and let the fold speak for itself. No hidden assembly line, no black box. A strip of fleece, a set of knots, and a person watching it happen.
That table became the whole philosophy. If a claim couldn't be shown at the booth, it didn't go on the sign. If a number couldn't be measured, it stayed out of the pitch. Not because caution is a virtue for its own sake, but because a shredded reputation is harder to rebuild than a shredded tug
— and because the people buying these, and the dogs pulling on them, deserved better than a confident guess dressed up as a fact.
So the business grew the slow way: real material (240 GSM knit fleece, cut the same exact way every time), real technique (a crown knot, a diagonal shift, a rotated lobe — each one nameable, each one demonstrable), and real math (cost per yard, cost per strip, profit per hour, tracked down to the cent) — rather than the fast way, which is borrowed science and invented percentages that don't survive a second question.
Along the way, the questions got harder, not easier. What's the wrap angle of a crown knot, really? Does a box stitch actually differ from what we're already folding? What does a dog's eye even register in a fold pattern? Every one of those got chased down properly — some resolved, some left as open, honest hypotheses waiting on a luggage scale and a stopwatch to become real numbers. That's not a slower way to build a brand. It's the only way to build one that doesn't have to be walked back later.

Transparent Craftsmanship
In a world full of vague marketing, our hand-folded fleece dog tugs bring you full clarity. Crafted in front of you using real fleece strips and named fold patterns—like VECTOR-S and HELIX-P—each tug is an open book of genuine craft, leaving no space for guesswork or untested claims.

Measured Materials
Understanding the fibers that connect every fold is key. We work exclusively with 240 GSM polyester knit fleece cut carefully to 2.5” x 72” strips on the warp, guaranteeing uniform starting materials. This measured approach keeps every tug honest, allowing us to focus on craft without compromise.

Thoughtful Designs
The TECH: VECTOR-S features orthogonal folds with a four-strand crown knot and four distinct wrapped squares. HELIX-P uses a diagonal-shift fold for more give in the pull. These patterns are known and demonstrated—no made-up science, just hand-folded truth for a tactile, engaging tug.
